Ernest Fairchild was his birth name, but all of us in the comic world knew him as EVIL ERNIE. The year was 1991 when he burst on to the scene. What made EVIL ERNIE such a good comic to read was the stories that Brian Pulido wrote for him. What really got me hooked on this comic was the sick fucking art work by Steven Hughes. As a character, EVIL ERNIE looked like a cyco long-haired metal punk. Even if you have never seen one of his books, you will be captivated by the ultra insane artwork.
