Discharge is my favorite band and this is my favorite song by them. How it comes in immediately from the sound clip of the babies crying and an explanation of what a bomb does. It just sets the whole tone for what they were about. C.R.

I listen to this demo way more than I listen to the split with Eddie Brock. Not saying that I don’t enjoy the split, but the noisy, messy, ugliness of the demo just does a lot more for me.

31 Conflict- From Protest To Resistance
Increase the Pressure by Conflict was one of the first punk records I heard and it blew me away. It’s like a punk rock soap opera. This song is a classic. The opening riffs and lyrics are bad ass.
32 DS-13- If This is Hardcore
DS-13 is one of my favorite bands. The lyrics to this song are tight as fuck. “If this is hardcore, I’d rather be a punk… if this is straight edge, I’d rather be a drunk…”
33 Wolfbrigade- Liv-Rädd
This song is perfect. The opening chords and then that little bass break and then BOOM you go into the song. D-Beat Odyssey is a flawless record.
34 Heresy- Never Healed
Heresy is an underappreciated band. This song is awesome. Simple chords and blazing fast drums and then you have a bad ass break in the middle.
35 Los Crudos- Las Madres Lloran
Probably my favorite hardcore punk band ever. Los Crudos are everything that I love about punk and hardcore.
36 Spazz- Angel Crisp
Spazz is one of the tightest hardcore bands ever. The bass in the beginning is crushing. I just love everything about Spazz.
37 Peligro Social- Asesino
I think Peligro Social made a flawless record with “No Religión.” Those riffs, solos, and vocals are great. A perfect punk record.
38 Inside Out- No Spiritual Surrender
Listen to this song. I feel this way every time I drive into Irvine from San Bernardino.
39 Neanderthal- Brain Tourniquet
Neanderthal was so sick. The bass smashes you in the beginning and then goes into fast shit. I love it.
40 Cobra- Real Now
Cool ass Oi! from Japan. This band is just funny to me for some reason but they are tight haha.
