Exclusive CVLT Nation Streaming ATRAMENT – Demo MMXV

The time has come for the world to deal with a new and unapolagetic threat in sonic form, an immeasurable pile of violence and darkness coming its way. ATRAMENT are a new d-beat crust band from Oakland, CA, formed by current and former members of notable Bay Area bands like Necrot, Vastum, Caffa, Abstracter, but also coming from Midwest heavyweights Moral Void and Black SeptemberDemo MMXV is their debut offering. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer Studios in Oakland, this demo is unmistakeable evidence of ATRAMENT‘s wretching aural violence and of their harrowing apocalyptic visions. Two blasts of fathomless sonic ferocity calling for the end of mankind, in which the classic sounds of d-beat crust masters like Wolfpack/Wolfbrigade, Skitsystem, Doom and Tragedy are gobbled up in a vortex of malignant and malevolent blackened death, and spit out in a maelstrom of plague-ridden aggression that is absolutely impossible to fuck with. CVLT Nation has been given the privilege of streaming this rabid sonic apocalypse of a demo below. You can pre-order tapes of the demo – coming out on Sentient Ruin on August 21st – over on the band’s Bandcamp. Look out for a full-length LP from ATRAMENT (we received word that it is already recorded) to be released in the coming months…
