…And We Burn
HIS HERO IS GONE
Now Showing!

I know where I wish I was on Dec.13th, 1997 – in Albany, NY, watching HIS HERO IS GONE. I wasn’t there, but Dan HASHTHRASH aka Killthatcat was in the house, and he captured their ballistic set so that we all can witness it now! Unholy fuck, I dig this band! Their music is full of righteous angst, and that emotion fuels my dreams of change. When I watch this video or listen to their music, it makes me think that no matter how hard the authorities try, they will never be able to silence us! The days might change, but trust me, the struggle stays the same. So open a beer, smoke a spliff, and peep this killer footage of a full set of HIS HERO IS GONE after the jump!

Thank you for posting this! HHIG is truly missed and one of the best punk/crust/hardcore/etc. etc. etc. bands in history, although the list can go on and on along the same lines with HHIG, Nux Vomica, Tragedy, Oroku, etc… RIP HHIG y’all shall rage in our hearts forever!

This band is so under rated, so very important. HHIG forever.
