Converge “Blood Moon” Performance Brought Emotion To Roadburn 2016

Roadburn 2016 is over, but the impact of all of the powerful performances are still being felt in the underground! Converge’s “Blood Moon” project featuring Jacob Bannon, Kurt Ballou, Nate Newton, and Ben Koller and guest musicians Chelsea Wolfe, Ben Chisholm, Stephen Brodsky, and Steve Von Till. From what I can see, they gave a very moving set that brought many to tears…Check out this fan-filmed footage, it only makes me wish I was there in person!

It was definitely awesome but I’d have to say G.I.S.M. was the highlight of the fest for me. Still it was cool to see Chelsea Wolfe and Steve Von Till contributing to the Converge set.

The London show was incredible, Chelsea Wolf’s vocals on cruel bloom/wretched World/last light were amazing.
